Visit the Gracefield Innovation Quarter

Callaghan Innovation and Wellington UniVentures invite you to tour the Gracefield Innovation Quarter (GIQ), Lower Hutt, home to GlycoSyn, Callaghan Innovation’s BioTechnologies Group and Te Kāuru and Te Kāuru – The Ferrier Research Institute. 

Tours will run on Tuesday, March 21 at 1.30-3.00pm (travel time included). Transport to and from the city is provided but spaces are limited. Please register here.

What is the GIQ?

The Gracefield Innovation Quarter houses more than 200 of New Zealand’s leading scientists, researchers and technicians, along with a suite of tenant businesses. The site features state-of-the-art specialist workshops, pilot plants, labs and equipment, and world-class measurement facilities. 

How does it work?

Through GIQ, residents have access to leading scientific and technical expertise, advice and services.  This includes technical services, measurement and analysis, or training and support of technical teams.  Plus access support for commercialising public sector-derived science or technology.
